This Armenian brandy is made of grapes from the Ararat valley and aged for 5 years. It is characterized by an intense amber colour. Feteasca Alba is a grape variety that is used widely in parts of Eastern Europe, most notably Romania but also in Moldova, Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine. Feteasca means "maiden" in Romanian and is shared by three distinct varieties: Feteasca Regala (royal maiden), Feteasca Neagra (black maiden) and Feteasca Alba, or white maiden, which refers to the colour of the grapes.

Kindzmarauli comes the best with the meat, cooked on the grill, perfect with desserts and fruits. This is one of the most famous wines of the Kakheti region, it has a very delicate and velvety taste, as it is obtained from the Saperavi grape variety.
